United Cable Industries Company (UCIC) Solar Plant
The largest rooftop solar system in Jordan and the Middle East, strategically engineered to cover the entire electrical consumption of the manufacturing facility using national expertise.
A Landmark Rooftop System Built for Manufacturing
The UCIC solar plant demonstrates how industrial rooftops can become high-value energy assets. The system was engineered to cover the full electrical consumption of the manufacturing facility while reinforcing Philadelphia Solar’s role in delivering bankable Commercial & Industrial solar solutions.
Beyond energy generation, the project tells a national manufacturing story: solar panels, steel structures, AC/DC cables, engineering, and manpower working together through Jordanian industrial capability.
Project Fact Sheet
Core project details for a large-scale industrial rooftop solar system serving a manufacturing facility.
Built on Jordanian Industrial Synergy
The project reflects the complementarity of national factories and the power of local industrial capability.
A Vision of National Synergy
This landmark mega-project was born from a firm belief in emphasizing the complementarity and interdependence among national factories. Instead of importing inputs from abroad, the project champions the use of premium national industrial products to achieve energy independence and operational efficiency.
The 70% Local Integration Solution
Philadelphia Solar engineered a highly integrated system where the proportion of Jordanian components exceeds 70%. The solution combines AC/DC cables produced by UCIC with Philadelphia Solar panels, Magnelis® steel structures, engineering, and local manpower.
Rooftop Scale With Structural Discipline
A large rooftop system designed for energy offset, roof complexity, and long-term industrial reliability.

The Largest Rooftop Solar System in Jordan and the Middle East
Installed across approximately 34,000 square meters and using 14,000 high-performance panels, the plant is designed to offset 100% of the factory’s electrical power consumption and support long-term financial savings.

Custom-Fitted Tin Roof and Canopy Mounting Systems
The plant was deployed using two specific types of Philadelphia Magnelis® steel mounted structures, custom-fitted for both standard tin roofs and elevated canopy installations.

Formal Collaboration Behind the Industrial Rooftop Project
The agreement signing reflects the national industrial partnership behind the project, bringing together cable manufacturing, solar manufacturing, steel structures, and engineering execution.
